Ohio has an affordable housing crisis.
And I want to do something about it.
Move to PROSPER, an initiative of The Ohio State University and community partners, seeks to demonstrate the positive impacts on academic achievement and mental health that relocation into high opportunity areas creates by providing:
rental housing subsidies in neighborhoods of high opportunity to positively impact single parent low wage working households with children under the age of 14
This project will develop a nationally replicable model that connects health and housing.
By going further than traditional voucher programs, Move to PROSPER aims to break down the social and economic barriers between high opportunity housing and those who want to live there. As the Project Facilitator, Ms. Klaben is responsible for ensuring the conceptualizing and organizing of all factors of this multifaceted project. To learn more, visit the Move to PROSPER website.
